DU Community Help
Related: About this forumLove my new DU family!
I have been enjoying DU for about a month now. I am 50 years old and have always voted, but this election has become more personal for me. I have raised 4 daughters on my own. My two youngest 17 and 23 are the first to be interested in socioeconomics/politics enough to sit down and watch the convention and debates. There are a lot of issues on the table that will effect women and I am proud of them paying attention and wanting to take a stand.
I came across DU by chance, searching the net for some truthfulness in news and politics.
Thank you to all the DU members, I read "our" news and forums daily. I encourage my daughters to read and watch The Daily Show and Colbert Report with me. Great truths with wonderful humor!

Ask any old-timer; they'll tell you of our dear departed Andy, the beloved kephra, and many others whom we have called family over the years...
Glad to hear you are raising up a new generation of liberals!...
