Thanks for letting me join your forum! The fact that there is an online liberal community of this size is awesome, and I'm learning a lot from the threads on here.

Now for a little bit about myself...I'm 18 years old, and I'm a senior in high school. My parents are diehard republicans (trust me, I've tried to convince them that the GOP sucks), so it's hard to get along with them at times. I'm also a huge Obama fan, and I voted for him a few days ago. He's da bomb!
