How do I change the status of a group from favorite?

Much to my horror my profile says my favorite group is the gungeon. I feel like I need to take a Silkwood shower.

I've made a few posts in the group, and probably clicked on something in error.

Help!

I think the profile shows which group or forum you most often visit...

The first is which big board forum, the second which group, for example mine:

Favorite forum: General Discussion, 812 posts in the last 90 days (46% of total posts)
Favorite group: Gun Control & RKBA, 39 posts in the last 90 days (2% of total posts)

Ordinarily, my favorite group would be Energy and Environment, but all the recent kerfluffle with guns has both of us spending more time there than we might.

FWIW, I go to the gungeon off of the "latest threads" view and not by choice. I'm not a subscriber.

In any event, I don't think you can remove it from your profile except by not posting replies in that place for a few weeks and by posting more replies in some other group.

That makes sense. I clearly need to visit some of the other groups. I'm more of a forum man myself.

Surely there is some Group interesting enough to you to make six replies.

Groups are listed in the right two columns on the following page
(or under the Topics and Places headings for mobile view):
