I would like to thank Skinner and DU for the valentine ideas.

It's really fun to give people valentines.

I wish we had them all the time.

Guess it is the child in me.

This morning in the grocery store, a father was counseling his son on the strategy of Valentine's Day. Apparently the little boy had chosen only boy's valentines. The father said, "But what about the girls? You need some valentines that girls would like." So the little boy, apparently offering a compromise said, "All the children like Sponge Bob." And the father suggested they trade some of the valentines they had for Sponge Bob ones.

And so the father taught his son to be thoughtful, to think about what the other person feels and wants. This happened in the 99 cents store where the richest don't generally buy their valentines. I was so touched by the father's kindness toward his son. A lot of fathers would not have been so helpful.

Valentines are fun. They promote kindness and love. Thanks for letting us give valentines to each other.
