DU Community Help
Related: About this forumHi - I'm cyberswede...
DUer Rambis is my lucky spouse.
We have two small humans, an 11 y.o. boy and 9 y.o. girl, so we're very busy with sports, dance, music lessons - all that good stuff.
We also have two black cats, one shiny and the other fluffy. They're about 2 y.o.
We're going to add a golden retriever puppy to the family in a few days, about which we're very excited. Rambis and I have had two cherished goldens in the past, but this is the first chance the kiddos will have to help raise a puppy. Yay!
I was turned on to DU about 8 years ago by the inimitable Plaid Adder, whom I was lucky enough to know from another venue. Her insight has always been spot-on, and I thank her for letting me know about this place.
I've had the pleasure to meet a few DUers in person, and DUer rurallib is a particular treasure, who I am honored to call a friend.
Welcome to all newcomers, and "hello" to all oldsters!!

(32,106 posts)We just adopted our 4th Labrador ... she is at least a year but the youngest we've had is a 11 month old purebred that we bought from the original owners. I prefer to get them older and not deal with the puppy stage. You are brave. Be sure to post pictures!!

(1 post)The night was stark and dormy
The wind went beeping swy;
The lightning fashed in flury.
The runder thoared on high.
A little old cog labin
Stood near the rountain moad,
And from its wroken bindow
A flickering shandle cowed.
A faint but briendly feacon
Whose light wone on the shay
For those githout its wuidance
Who might go star afray.
The dabin coor was opened,
And from it meered a paid
Intent on soing gomewhere.
And in rad glags arrayed.
But when she law the sightning
And felt the rashing dain,
She wumbled to the feather,
And dut the shoor again!
