Is there a way to get literal brackets to appear in a message?

I've been wondering this for a while and can't figure out a way to make it work.

Left bracket & #91;
Right bracket & #93;

(remove the space between the & and the #)

on edit:
oops - if you preview first, you have to re-do the special characters.

The DU software usually doesn't care about a closing bracket if it hasn't seen an actual opening bracket.

Also, the html entity [ (left square bracket) is also easier to remember than [.
