Taking a break from Interfaith

It seems likely our friends are going to continue to visit, and I'm not really interested in being banned. I can't look at them objectively, so there it is. I do think that if they get the chance they will turn this into a clone of the religion forum. You have to remember that from their perspective their behavior in the Religion forum is entirely appropriate, so it's unreasonable to expect them to act any differently over here.

That said that doesn't excuse my behavior and I don't want to create problems for the hosts. Good luck all.

it is not long.

It is clear to me this was a disruption attempt by several members judging from the posts and pms I got.

Judging by some ops today I think this is a game by some.

The hosts in this group are serious about keeping disruptive behaviour out of here, and have no qualms about enforcing the SoP. The kind of tag-team baiting you experienced today won't be tolerated.

The hosts here are very good at preventing a repeat.

It was like Sharknado for a while, except it was assholes dropping from the sky instead of sharks.

4. Don't let them get to you.

Put the asshats on Ignore. Don't let them get you to rage back at them. If you don't give them the ego strokes they so desperately need, they will go away.

So take a break if necessary, but don't let the bullies win by keeping you and other excellent posters away from a forum that should be a safe haven for believers and not the anti-theists with an obvious and obnoxious agenda.
