I tried to watch "Nickel Boys"

But had to give up. i thought it was painfully slow going and I found the POV style cinematography just got on my nerves. Anyone else?

Colson Whitehead is one of my favorite writers. I had to put the book aside for a while, take a break, due to the subject matter, which I expected, but still.....

I will finish the book eventually, but I don't think I'll see the movie.
