It was incredibly moving. I went to school in San Francisco, and then worked there for 6 years and lived there 1 year. I have never seen an area I was familiar with filmed so deeply and it felt like home.

It is a real story of an individual, so rare in Hollywood. I could relate to it for a lot of reasons, though I am not black. I lived in Hunter's Point in the Projects as a child, but I don't remember it.
