Gabby Giffords Won't Back Down is excellent - must see.

I’m a Tucsonan and I was unaware of how much GG went through, and continues to overcome from being shot. Her husband, Mark Kelly, took extensive video from day 1 of their journey. Really good, I’ve laughed and cried and it isn’t over yet! Find it on prime or elsewhere!

I had no idea and am impressed what the human spirit can do. I’m actually kinda ashamed that I don’t get things done and I’m able bodied. What an inspiring documentary

She is remarkable. She's working so hard to get better.

And who among us doesn't have a piece of skull in our freezer?

I can't help thinking about all the other survivors of mass shootings.

Perhaps her gun violence work has had an even bigger impact than she might have had as a representative, as sad as that is to say. I didn’t realize how effective her organization had been at state levels until watching this documentary. She is not a quitter and she sure has hell didn’t back down. ❤️

The shooter, who had obvious mental health issues, was turned down for a gun purchase at Walmart, but of course managed to find someone else to sell it to him.

One of several thoughts I had while watching this was, how much does an incident like this cost over time? It has to be in the tens of millions of dollars. It's time to annualize the cost of gun violence in real terms, and add a tax to not only their purchase but annually as well. Your 'freedom' to own is not free, there's a cost associated with it, and a rather large one at that.

I’d like to see a prohibitive tax on all multi round round rapid fire guns putting them out of reach of most teenage boys / young men.
