Angel Reese Traded to Atlanta
The Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream have reportedly consummated a blockbuster trade. Two-time WNBA All-Star Angel Reese is leaving Chicago.
According to reports, the Sky have traded Reese and an option to swap second-round picks to the Dream for first round picks in 2027 and 2028. Reese confirmed the deal on her Twitter account.
Reese, who will turn 24 on May 6, was the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She earned All-Rookie honors and was the runner-up for the rookie of the year award to Caitlin Clark in 2024.
Over her two seasons with the Sky, Reese averaged 14.1 points and 12.9 rebounds per game.
