"The Big Ideas Project" from the "Progressive Change Institute"....Anyone have experience with this?

I checked this out after reading Bill Moyers interview with MIT Economist Simon Johnson who also works with the Pete Petersen Foundation. I don't trust the Petersen Foundation but Johnson promoted it in his Moyers' Interview. It looks like a Social Media Thing.
Don't know what to think about it. And, it just launched for 2014. Is it a "Hillary for President" action group to get Progressive Dems involved with promoting her or an independent action.. And, why did leading Dems take so long to launch it? It's not like they haven't had since Obama was elected to start socially interacting with Grassroots Dems.

Anyone have experience with it? Or, know who might "deep fund" it?

About the "Progressive Change Institute:

The Big Ideas Project, launched in December 2014 by the Progressive Change Institute, is a crowd-sourced platform allowing the public, leading policy experts, progressive organizations, celebrities, and others to submit and vote on big ideas they believe progressives should champion in 2015 and 2016.

32 members of Congress have committed to taking a serious look at the 20 big ideas that rose to the top.

Senators: Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Sen. Al Franken (D-MN), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI), Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)

Representatives: Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D-CA), Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL), Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), Rep. Jared Huffman (D-CA), Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM), Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ), Rep. Brenda Lawrence (D-MI), Rep. Barbara Lee (CA-13), Rep. Ted Lieu (CA-33), Rep. Rick Nolan (D-MN), Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-TX), Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO), Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI), Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO), Rep. Mark Takai (D-HI), Rep. Mark Takano (D-CA), Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD)

Voting ended at noon Eastern Time on Friday January 16th.

We're looking for big, bold ideas that will affect the lives of millions of ordinary Americans.

Do you want to see a world where regular people can run for office? An end to global warming? Universal health care? Let yourself think outside the box.

If others like your ideas, members of Congress will see it.

It's so sad that NOT cutting social security and single-payer health care are called "big ideas" whereisjustice Jan 2015 #1

that just shows how small we have become as a nation.

I should also say - it shows how small the Democratic Party has become.

The reason "it shows how small the Democratic Party has become"
is because the "establishment" narrative has shut down any
alternative visions.

Single payer wasn't "politically viable"
War is inevitable because humans always have wars.
TINA= There Is No Alternative

It's not a puzzle unless you can't see the wool over your eyes.
Actively pretending there is no wool over our eyes is complicity.
The MSM is not the 4th Estate, it's domestic propaganda.

But now I wonder if its just a way for them to figure out what they need to say in campaign rhetoric to get us to the polls, rather than actually trying to implement anything.
