Cannabis experiment going well...
It’s legal to grow in Michigan.
Rain, ice storms, cold weather is delaying growing outside. So indoor cannabis grow is for fun.
Got a male plant…strain, Pure Michigan bred to auto. Have an auto female growing under it ready to catch all the pollen with enough to share with the others in the tent…a fully feminized auto Pure Michigan and a couple Northern Lights/ Double Grape feminized autos. All have been anointed with the pollen. This is an attempt to get autoflower seeds. I have done this before on a very small trial a few years ago. It worked well…I got about 60 seeds from one isolated branch that I tested on.

Applying the pollen to the female bud. Pollen does not stay viable for too long so I cut off the branch that’s ready and use it like a paintbrush, stroking the pollen across the buds and letting it drift throughout the female plant.
The little female is peeking out.. after I’m done with the male plant ..it will get cut down allowing the female to take over in the pot…
Sharing this tent with my hot peppers (Big Thai, Jalapeño, Habanero) and sweet potato slips. Maybe I’ll get hot peppers that give a little ‘different’ kind of kick…🤣😂
Here is an almost ready to be harvested female from my previous attempt at seeding. I know it works just as with all growing…we will see.

Took this after a week of pulling all the makes from 7 acres only to come out every day and find more males throwing pollen around! And when I went out to inspect, this is what I found. A clearly marked female plant had grown her own pollen pods right over the buds.

Kinda common in the earlier days of autoflower. They can get viable seeds. I kinda think that little plant under the male is a hermie seed. It was very little…I mean very little. Had it in my found seed collection.
I forgot how messy males are…damn pollen everywhere….thinking to rename the tent to…The Epstein tent.
No joke about the pollen spread, that stuff gates everywhere. I like the new name for the tent!
The hermi buds were all small, the good stuff was amazing, and it wasn't even marijuana. That was from them hemp crop, some high end CBD stuff, the turpenes were too much for the deer. All I can say about that adventure is... glad I only did that once. It was so much work.
I’ve heard of it but don’t think they use hybrid hops/canna. That would be a game changer…

All together… MiHale…pronounced MyHale.
In Michigan there’s a ton of Mi, this Mi, that so just followed a proven theme.
Quite a bit in a little name.
Used to be N_E_1 for Tennis …a play on a Cream song….and the sport I used to play. Changed at the last approved name change.
