We have tons of sugar maples here in Tennessee, too, so I don't think of syrup coming primarily from Vermont. I think of Ben & Jerry's when I think of Vermont. LOL.

Wait: you have tons of them over in the Carolinas, too. But, more on your western side. I'm in East Tennessee. It's the Appalachians that like to grow them.
