She says he has received $200,000 from Wall Street via the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. If this is the best she can throw at him, then she better prepare for some backlash. She has received over $200 MILLION from corporations via campaign donations (Senate and POTUS) along with "donations" to the Clinton Foundation and speaking fees. $200,000 vs. $200 MILLION. And that is NOT counting the insane amount of corporate money given to Bill Clinton over the last 30 years either.

(3,623 posts)Problem with that line is populist anger disagrees strongly with her. We are furious about corporate money in politics. Bernie is too. He's not perfect but he is a hell of a lot cleaner than she is. She wants to set up a strawman argument to distract from the $300-400m in corporate money that she and her husband have received.
And then she has the nerve to suggest similar amounts of corporate cash on the Republican side definitely corrupts the GOP members. But no way, no way in hell the Clintons could ever be corrupted by that crazy amount of cash.
