Regarding Clinton's statement on releasing speech transcripts

Secretary Clinton said on Rachel Maddow, "...I’m getting a little bit weary of the double standard. Let’s release what everybody has ever said. There are a lot of people on both sides. If we’re going to start saying what you did while you were out of public office, or in the private sector, fair game. Release it all. Everybody."

Now I will agree that the Republican candidates may have some speech transcripts that the voters would be interested in. However, that's for the Republicans to hash out. For the time being, at least, the Republicans are not Hillary's opponent. Until primary season is over, Senator Sanders is her opponent.

Should Senator Sanders release speech transcripts? He could, I suppose. But either way, there's no double standard. The issue isn't what either candidate ever said to any random group. The issue is what Clinton said to Wall Street donors, to gauge whether she is consistent in what she says, or whether she tailors her message depending on whether she's looking for votes or money.

To talk about releasing what anybody has ever said, regardless of whether the audience was composed of powerful potential campaign donors and regardless of the amount of money which changed hands, is obfuscation.

After I wiped the coffee off my chin I was just waiting for the right place to insert it. Glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to use it where appropriate. I think it is worthy of more exposure.

released and published. He is pretty transparent. Let's see the videos and transcripts of Hillary's speeches to Wall Street.

If she said what she says she said, she will raise her trust polling numbers. If she did not say what she has said she said, well .... Voters need to know that when they go to vote.

Transcripts, transcripts, transcripts!

As a voter it is highly relevant since she took all of their money they "offered" and yet says she will reform them. I would like to know if that's what she said. Also want to see the part in her speech where she told them to "cut it out!" She can never release any of them because her run would be over. If we continue to demand them her run will be over!
