1) Go to anyplace one of the dozens of GOP candidates is speaking and ask them "Why is the republican party afraid to debate Bernie Sanders?" If they evade or dodge the question then ask "Why are you personally afraid to debate Bernie Sanders."
-feel free to follow up with additional questions.
2) You tube and facebook the videos!
The RNC has put out a letter stating that they will punish Republican candidates for participating in free and open debates outside of their very narrow Fox News window of debates. Let's make the Republicans pay a price for this kind of cowardice!

(9,086 posts)It's the party bosses of both parties using their power to protect their power.
The DNC 6 debate rule sucks just as bad as the RNC rule.
I wonder if there would be a way around these rule by just not calling it a debate, but calling it a discussion or something.

(7,865 posts)Actually I was going to go after the RNC on this one. I know the DNC isn't supportive of open debates at the moment but we can change that with a letter writing campaign and if we can pressure the Repug-niks into debating Sanders our own party will quickly change it's tune because it is strategically useful.

(7,865 posts)As long as the questions are posed calmly and carefully it should work.
Besides we don't want people shouting at candidates, we want people recording what candidates say about this. Their answers are far more damning than any accusations implied in the question.

(7,865 posts)But I am one person in one state that most republicans tend to shy away from. For me it would be worth the risk of being temporarily detained. Most of these cases never go to trial anyhow.

(2,586 posts)I'd wish I would have gotten an admit to the thing. It would have been hilarious to see a bunch of conservatives taking on questions from kids who will likely be voting for Sanders.
