One thing Hillary does better than Bernie

is she changes her speech to meet the crowd... for example she kept bringing up issues in Wisconsin. She threw some jabs at Walker. Bernie should learn from that.

Other than that - she is so condescending. Not only did she talk down to Bernie like he is her child - she also rolled her eyes on several occasions. Not very presidential.

But she does change up her speech to meet the audience, and I do give her kudos for that.

It's absolutely true though that he tends to stick to his stump speech. Good message discipline but improv/mixing it up hadn't been his strong suit.

I also thought her final statement was strong, and his wasn't. But overall, I think he won the debate. I also liked the moderator's questions better than in the other debates that I have seen. They addressed serious and important issues.

But it sometimes fails, like when she does the southern accent

when she was giving a speech in Alabama, I think. She started out sounding just like my mom, but then she kind of trailed off into a more drawly type of accent.

Her comments about Walker were facile and really not at all related to any policy. Dems here pretty much love to demonstrate dislike of Walker, but the WiDem version of the DNC keeps pushing New Dems as his opponents...and WI can't muster a majority vote for one to beat Walker.

If Clinton had been speaking to WI she'd have been all over examples in WI news about biased policing, racial injustice, failed schools because 1) that's what her base here thinks are important and 2) for Milwaukee those problems have enormous racial components. But WI isn't a superTuesday state, moreover, WI Blacks have historically not participated in the primary process and despite their recent rise in activism have mostly been written off by the New Dem punditry. WI is seen as one of those 'too white' states that favor Sanders.

So while she could have said a lot to an audience sitting in a WI auditorium, she really didn't.

IMO she kept the next contests in mind and mostly tried to address issues for audiences there.

Sanders; message on the other hand stayed the same course. He sells his own view and it doesn't change from venue to venue. His advantage in this primary season is that a majority of America's big problems have moved directly into his line of fire.
