How long will the Sanders Swiftboatters try to gain mileage from debunked lies about Bernie photo?

The photographer who took the photo of Bernie Sanders at the University of Chicago--has stepped forward to reveal that it was indeed, an authentic photo of Bernie Sanders.

"I took the photograph of Bernie Sanders speaking to his fellow CORE members at that sit-in. Bob McNamara, a close friend and CORE activist, is in the very corner next to me in the picture. Across the room from me is another campus photographer named Wexler, who taught me how to develop film.

"It is Bernie, and it is proof of his very early dedication to justice for African Americans. The CORE sit-in that Bernie helped lead was the first civil rights sit-in to take place in the North."

I wonder how much longer Bernie enemies will attempt to get mileage off of debunked lies?

Will they wait until Time Magazine, the Washington Post and MSNBC has offered retractions and apologies to Sanders?

I think many who hitched their wagon to this Swifboatting star, hoped it would do real damage. Well, it appears that the boat didn't even make it out of the dock--as the lies were exposed within 24 hours of releasing the orchestrated hit job that included four witnesses, who are now all revealed as puppet liars.

I hope the Sanders Swiftboatters continue. It's a spotlight on how rotten that ol' kitchen sink really is.

It also spotlights what an honest, man of integrity that Bernie Sanders is. I can't fathom Sanders entertaining such ridiculous, clumsy and dishonest behavior.

Even the Big Dawg knows she's losing.... At least this:

"The anchors were discussing Hillary’s New Hampshire loss when Mitchell threw down the gauntlet, saying that Bill’s face was most telling about where Clinton’s campaign was headed.

“I have to say Bill Clinton is freaking out the most. He didn’t take questions tonight. He always takes questions. Not tonight.”

“Watching him watch her these last few days when they’ve been campaigning together because previously he was on his own and watching his face, he could not mask the recognition that oh, my gosh, this is happening again. She’s going to lose.”

The desperation is just silly.

They really should try to just lose gracefully.

To go out like this, is sad and tragic.

The MSM has done all they can to ignore Sanders, Team Clinton apparently didn't think they were going to have to fight for the nom but both of those strategies have failed.

Now there is no ignoring Sanders. Sure the MSM can help HRC smear Sanders but that will only work on some of the people who let the MSM do their thinking for them -- and that number wasn't enough to stop Sanders in Iowa or VT.

Not sure that HRC's negatives could go any higher but these stupid, easily disproved attacks on Sanders are the best way to find out!

A Washington Free Beacon/TargetPoint Consulting poll released Friday shows between Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sander (I-VT) in Nevada. It's the first poll conducted in the state this year.

The poll showed support for Clinton and Sanders tied at 45 percent of respondents.

This is the first poll of Democratic voters in the state by this pollster, as well as the first conducted there since December. Most previous polling showed Clinton holding a double-digit lead in the state, indicating a collapse in her support consistent with the rapid tightening of the race following Clinton’s narrow win in Iowa and substantial loss in New Hampshire.

There has been so little polling in Nevada that there is no TPM PollTracker Average for the state.

The poll was carried out from Feb. 8-10 with a population sample of 1,236 likely Democratic voters and a margin of error of 2.9 percentage points.

disappointing that they've got the MSM on their side willing to publish these lies without retraction.

but we've got the new media, and the new media is what ascended Bernie in the first place.

She feels she has to do anything, including promoting smears that will eventually blow up in her face, to win Nevada and South Carolina. I see her as being at a real risk of having President Obama throw up his hands and signalling to the DOJ that it's OK by him if they need to drop the hammer on the Clintons.

But if Secretary Clinton can win South Carolina big, and thus look beloved by the AA community, while smearing Senator Sanders to the point his chance of getting elected POTUS are reduced, then President Obama will continue to signal to the DOJ that there's nothing to see here, move along.

She's wrapping herself in Obama, and reminding him and the world that she was appointed by Obama. She's trying to entwine their destinies. That's a great tactic ... until it isn't. If Obama decides he needs to cut Clinton loose, he'll now have to do so in a hard fashion. I'd expect to see the word "betrayed" used by a spokesperson in describing how he felt.

It's all about the investigations. That's also why her campaign is desperately trying to get Sanders to wade into the mud with them. Wisely, he isn't buying. He'd get immediate gratification by replying in kind, but why do that when the media is now taking on the Clinton smear machine for him.

If Sanders had made it personal, the media would be more reluctant to weigh in. But he hasn't, so it's all about the lies her campaign is telling and promoting.

The usual explanation is that Sanders is just being a gentleman. But you make it clear that by preventing it from turning into a he said/she said food fight, he's putting the spotlight entirely on Clinton's lies and smears. And that's brilliant.

Sanders supporters become more devoted to Sanders and more repulsed by Clinton.

Undecideds and fence straddlers break toward Bernie because Swiftboatting, lies and Rovian tactics aren't attractive.

This is exactly what happened when Sanders was frozen out of the voter database. Sanders supporters galvanized, donated and broke his way. I'm convinced it boosted his Iowa campaign.

Actually, none of the shit they are trying to peddle is even mildly interesting to my redditor grandson. He likes Bernie's message, and he think Bernie means well for the country, and he does not think Hillary means well for regular people.
