Jonathan Alter on The Last Word tonight called Bernie's message a "broken record" as if all Bernie talks about is economic inequality.
I guess Alter doesn't know how to listen very well.

(9,999 posts)Months ago, on one of his shows, he was talking about Bernie and said something like: "those of us who consider (or call) ourselves Social Democrats..". I thought that he was definitely speaking of or including himself as one. And then tonight, his interview with Ms Piven, well, he seemed to have much respect for her and her ideology. Oh yeah, he's feeling the Bern.

(39,451 posts)I enjoy his show, more than Rachel's. He's more informative.

(39,451 posts)the conversation around to how Bernie can win.
Maybe it's just me and a little bit of Bernie selective hearing? But one thing he does is talk about Bernie. Which is more than Chris Hayes and Rachel. They may mention Bernie in passing but Lawrence will talk about him.
Yay! We have Lawrence and Thom Hartmann on our side - it's something

(9,999 posts)But I agree about his show. I've always liked his perspective on the inner workings of politics rather than just opinion or talking points. He has "talked me down" many times by explaining either the legality or policies of government. I also get the feeling that he does not cower to ratings or management - like if his show was taken away tomorrow, he would be off to something else with no regrets. When all the pundits are together talking about debates or elections or whatever, he never grandstands, or tries to out talk the others, but when he does say something - it is always different and informative.
