Here's the thing. Hillary is running as Obama's third term. But most people don't want a third term. They want change. They don't think Obama did enough.

And I want them to say EXACTLY THE SAME THING when Bernie leaves office. I don't want anybody to run just to be Bernie's third term. I want them to KEEP delivering MORE change. Not just to continue the changes the last President did, but to add NEW ones. Bernie is not some end product perfect change, he's still at the very beginning of what we need changed. I want folks saying, ok, he did some good things, but we need MORE. We need to KEEP changing, KEEP moving towards greater equality, greater justice. Not just stagnate at exactly the same level as the person before. Progress means you keep aspiring, keep looking towards an ever brighter future, not promise to be a placeholder, even if you face a completely obstructionist Congress.

and being taken advantage of by predatory lenders, bankers, corporations, the military industrial complex and identity politics - all of which are embraced by Clinton the Status Quo candidate. It's heartening beyond belief that Bernie Sanders had the guts and brilliance to recognize this and help lead us out of the slough of despair that has dominated this nation for far too long. I admire President Obama for his accomplishments - now let Bernie take over.

I read last week that former Democratic Party Chairman, Dick Harpootlian, had endorsed Sanders. It was interesting to see him talk about him but I think this endorsement is probably just as much an anti-Hillary endorsement as a pro Bernie endorsement. Of course I guess that's how all endorsements really are in the long run. They don't like one candidate and prefer another. Mr. Harpootlian picked Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama and now Sanders. Let's hope he keeps up his winning record.
