A little help...CNN Money writer saying Bernie thinks $250,000 is Middle Class.

If you Tweet...she has done an article, blathering that Bernie thinks Middle Class income is $250,000 AND then doing all kinds of hand-wringing about those Middle Class Tax INCREASES.

That is not what Bernie thinks is middle class...she needs to get an earful.

"Economic utopia under President @BernieSanders? Not likely, say former White House economists."

I don't know ANYONE (including Bernie) who thinks a quarter million dollars is simply "middle class" -- not when the median income is something like 40k. Talk about living in a magical world!

be indexed also by zip code. In south Arkansas $50,000 per year is probably pretty close to NYC of $150,000 or San Jose $150,000.

In these days it is known what the average income is for each area. It is known how much income is poor middle and above. A well off person in south Arkansas is probably paying the same rates as someone barely getting by in NYC and San Francisco.

For reasons I don't understand, people earning between $118,000 and $250,000 would continue to pay on $118,000 ONLY. Those making $250,000+ pick up the slack, so to speak, and pay FICA on all of their earnings.

If this isn't right, somebody please correct me.
