African American vote

Considering the Clinton's history:

"Tough on crime".
Welfare "reform".
Private Prison money.
Trade agreements (NAFTA) that have decimated jobs.
Banking deregulation that led to homes being stolen.

When compared with Bernie I'm having a difficult time understanding why any person of color would vote for Hillary.

It is probably as case of "better the devil you know". They don't have any idea what a president Sanders might bring. They have a pretty good idea with Clinton. Plus, I think that community strongly feels Hillary to be the most electable--and getting a Democrat elected is their number one priority.

Bill was a media hero, played his sax (poorly) in Harlem,
was thought of as 'the first black president.'
All nonsense, of course, as at every turn he knifed them in the back.

As they learn the way of the Bern, they too shall follow the light.

Defeated before we even dream to wish for better. Do not have the conviction of Nina and Mike.
Content with the status quo. Have worked hard (like Hillary) under this system and are afraid of change.
Ready to settle for easy to get crumbs, Rather than work hard for the whole ball of wax.
Without hope.

In my heart of hearts: enough is enough is enough.
I want my whole damn dollar.
