But I'm wondering if this violates the DNC rule about sanctioned debates, since it's a town hall format. Does anyone know?

It is, however, Bernie's best format.

I guess it couldn't hurt. Bernie's fearless, and he could take any questions.
They must have invited Hillary too. If that's the case and she said no, Bret Baier might take a shot at that.
