Occupy Wall Street, terrorist attacks, and a black president are the phenomena that gave America a presidential contest in 2016 featuring a socialist and a fascist.
The socialist is a teacher really. He’s trying to let the have-nots know how they got that way. The 1% wealth and power are to blame; they made it that way and they aim to keep it that way. THEY are the antagonists. There is a way out, he says. We all do better when we ALL do better.
If more angry white males get this message there really will be a political revolution. But, so far, it’s not happening. That’s because the fascist has the ear of tv network owners, all 1%ers like himself.

Call him the evangelist of anger… directing it toward people same color as that uppity president, or immigrants, or muslims. Anyone except tax-dodging super-haves like himself. He’s just outrageous enough in his views to attract tv viewers. Not coincidentally, this enables this obscene lap dance to get him FREE media.
No-information and low-information means no revolution, no economic justice. No jobs returning or corporate taxes paid. A perfect storm for maintaining the 1% vs. 99% status quo. The teaching socialist is courageous, yet frustrated. The flashy fascist seems to enjoy being annoying. And there is a shining city on the hill ahead to conquer, a new palace for the Sultan of Insult?
