Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumWe just got back from the grand opening of Bernie headquarters here in Anchorage
and I'm happy to report that just 15 minutes into the opening, the place was jumping, with more and more people coming in while we were there. We got buttons and a yard sign (which we're going to have to figure out how to get into our frozen ground), made a contribution and signed up for the volunteer list. I think Bernie will do very well at our caucus on the 26th.
I'll post a couple pictures later.

(5,198 posts)I was strong enough!! I was there in the 80s (pre Palin), and left a part of my heart there. I'm glad I was in my 20's, hiked everywhere, snow machined on the Iditarod trail. It was the first time I heard people saying that 'the corporations are taking over'... great memories great people.

(46,436 posts)This campaign office is located in an eastside mall which has a largely minority, military and lower/middle income clientele. I think it's an excellent spot for it. Hillary's campaign office is in the same building as the state democratic party headquarters. Wouldn't you know? LOL.
I love the old guy's hat here.
