can defend the top 400 richest people in this country owning more wealth than the bottom half of America, 150 million people'.

I notice a silence when this is raised. It SHOULD be met with anger at the greed and lust for power, more than anger OUTRAGE and it should be stopped.

How did we let it happen? We were bamboozled using several tactics to do so. One, the 'team' game 'our team' 'their team'. We were the good guys who had to win to make things right.

Two by dividing people, by various labels, note the constant focus on certain demographics, splitting them apart, or trying to.

Because they know that if we the people were ever to unite, the game would be over.

5. With due respect to Bernie, there's been class warfare for millennia, not only the last 30 years.

Taking from, and exploiting, the masses to make wealthy people wealthier was very well known to Pharaoh and Caesar and probably to Neanderthals.

What did happen 30 years ago was incorporation of the DLC, which sold the Democratic Party on being more like Republicans on economic policy and to triangulate on other issues (Think DADT and DOMA). So, while both parties focused us on making "wedge" issues wedgier, they cooperated on things like NAFTA, ending welfare, repeal of Glass Steagall, etc. So, the rate of transferring wealth up the pyramid accelerated.
