DU members are not the enemy

Sure, some act like they want to be our enemies but they are just pulling your chain. Just trolling you for giggles.

Who here has not done something similar?

Just remember our real enemies are out there and not on DU.
Our enemies are republicans, the media, the 1%ers.

Just ignore the wannabes on DU. They have no power over you except what you give them.

Focus on GOTV, and forming your part in the revolution.

We are the revolution and when we GOTV and they steal primary elections where are our demands for recounts?

Bernie has a election campaign to run. We need leaders on other fields.

When I was younger and much more active, I made quite a few things change. I made my own way in a revolution of change, it was hard, but others also made changes happen. Anyone can do their part in their own way.

I even had success in the ballot field. Did it by going to election board meetings and lobbying for legislation.

Been waiting for help to show up, and maybe Bernie's friends will be that help?

call in to cspan, talk shows, call your legislators - better yet, go meet them at town halls or their offices when they are in town - and write them personal letters. get involved in the specific issues that you are passionate about. mine are the environment, social justice, & stopping monsanto.

for example, phone calls, letters, and petitions that reach are letters were helpful today to stop the DARK ACT. we did that! legislators under pressure from their constituents responded to our calls, letters, and visits.

Got some things done here in my state.

I will probably never vote a straight Democratic ticket again in my lifetime. I am not sure I will stand behind my two female senators ever again. And I paid to have lunch with them. Their votes on the TPP and other issues has really revealed to me that there is a lot of "republican lite" going on there.

It won't matter in the long run. We have a good 50 years before climate change really impacts our living on this planet. Too bad it looks like no matter if their nominee or ours *unless Bernie can do it, will do anything to change the course we are on.

4. TPP is a product of bribes

Bribes that start with the way campaigns are financed.

TPP is all about business and short term profits, Those who stand to profit are very free with bribes and lobbying. It is no surprise long term congress critters would be looking at TPP with favoritism. They know all about favors.

Bernie will alter that reality with our help. He's already showing it can be done with the way his campaign is being funded.

to start at the local level - and as corporate tools have taken over school boards, commissions, city governments, etc. and on up - many of them disguising themselves as democrats. their tactics are very dark - and corrupt. they are a cancer.

Whoever the democrats nominate as a party, and then one does not support the party nominee in unity, then one becomes what is known as a PUMA.

Don't be a PUMA, is my hope or all.

I am voting for a man, not a party.

Plus, I disagree with your "extreme" comment. It is how I feel.

and they prove it every day. This is not for giggles with them. They want Bernie out of the picture and want his supporters banned. They are not playing, it would be dangerous to believe they are.

I've seen worse. Basically what we see and read on DU from them is child's play. There is no danger on DU. On the streets is different. DU is just electrons. Don't take any of DU too seriously except for the inspiration we give one another.

Pulling chains and giggles makes it seem lighthearted when its anything but. There are some really nasty people and that's a fact.
