(13,110 posts)Anything that benefits the people is extreme.
Anything that benefits the corporations and Wall Street
is part of the party platform.
There is absolutely nothing extreme about Bernie's
vision for this country.
There is a great book that explains why people (mostly
white people) vote against their best interests.
There are also interviews on You Tube with the author of
the book.
He explains the premise in his interviews.
Billy Moyers and Amy Goodman interviewed the author.
The book in titled 'Dog Whistle Politics'.
The author is Ian Haney Lopez.
If we could get the 99% to read this book, I don't think
a Republican could ever get elected again.

(34,661 posts)will agree,if everyone would read the book, one would understand why most Grass Roots Dems and Activists have been screaming about for decades. Also, take a effective listening class, and then watch the Network News,it will drive you nuts. Take away, you learn the little nuances and other subtleties used by floor directors and producers to juice their presentations.

(13,110 posts)I don't want over paid corporate shills lying to me.
I can not believe that Brian Williams is going to MSNBC.
Who would hire a journalist that is a know liar ?
It is truly sickening.
I was disappointed in Rachel Maddows excitement about Brian
coming to MSNBC.
The deceit is so blatant and in your face.
I am so grateful for the internet and independent news.
The internet is such a great educational tool.
I watch documentaries.
I listen to lectures.
I listen to debates.

(34,661 posts)that are juiced in the Talent's TelePrompter. The real ouch is went the so called News Person's facial expression goes whacko. Never watch Fake Noise, occasionally ABC,usually catch the lead on CBS local and screw the rest. For the real deal,it's the Internet.
