Hmm, interesting

This threw me for a loop.

It Doesn't Seem to Matter That Sanders Keeps Winning States—Clinton Gets the Delegates
'Morning Joe' and Mika aren't sure why Democrats keep going to the polls.

By Alexandra Rosenmann / AlterNet
April 11, 2016

On MSNBC's Morning Joe on Monday, Mika and Joe were exclaiming over Bernie Sanders' 12-point victory over Hillary Clinton in Wyoming and the fact that the large win yielded Sanders no more delegates than Clinton.

“(Sanders has) won eight out of nine (contests),” Scarborough began. “He wins by 12 points [and] he may not pick up a single delegate. It’s seven to six now with a remaining delegate to be decided later? I’m sorry, that’s a crushing victory.”

Later, he wondered why Democrats even bother to vote, as when it comes to delegate allocation, the fix appears to be in, and it favors the establishment choice, Clinton.

That was my first time voting. Ever.

I've always thought that our votes didn't count so why bother?

And now, the first time I've ever voted... I'm seeing that I might have been right all along.

What a fucking world am I right? The first time I try, it turns out it might not be for anything.

I wouldn't put it past them to discourage voting

The internet swarms are trying to demoralize us, to have msnbc doing that too would be beyond the pale. Yet, I still can see it.

They will fail.

There are people spending billions to keep us from voting. Why would they do that if votes didn't matter?
