Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumI didn't watch the debate
It was hard but I managed.
I don't drink and I don't smoke, pot or otherwise. There's not enough camomile tea in the world to get me through another debate so I sat this one out.
Reading retrowire's threads, it looks like Bernie did well.
So... fill me in?

(7,499 posts)And Hillary got booed on numerous occasions. Bernie is the peoples' candidate, but who knows what will transpire to make sure she "wins" the nomination.

(7,321 posts)There were times I thought Bernie did very well, but there were times when I felt he should do a "one-two" knock out, especially at the start of it, but also at several key places in the debate. I started to get that feeling I got when Kerry was debating Bush.
I don't want to be too hard on our guy, but this was his last chance to righteously expose her. He did do that on a few occasions, to an extent, but I wanted more. I wanted her nosed bloodied over her lies and hubris and her smirks, and general arrogance.
I know he's just not wired that way, which is a plus as a human being.
But in this arena, I felt like her attitude of him is something akin to an aggravating buzz fly she feels she needs to swat, or maybe an ant she can just step on and snuff out.
essentially, I think you did yourself a favor, I'm in a very bummed mood right now. sorry...
