And I like to believe Bernie isn't petty enough to internationally snub her. But then, I suppose he's still human.

So I don't think it was pettiness. He also walked past the person to Morale's immediate right.

But I do think it's funny how Archer obviously jumped to her feet and rushed to greet him...

about the guide pointing Bernie toward Morales, and also right that Ms Archer's thwarted greeting was purdy darned funny. Now if only José Mujica had been there, it would have been my fantasy political trio.

The walkway to his seat. And then he shook hands with the other chap (Morales?).

But it certainly made her look silly standing up and all prepared to shake Bernie's hand.
