Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumJust got back from canvassing for Bernie in Connecticut.
In a diverse neighborhood of my small city, the people I canvassed were overwhelmingly feeling the Bern. Latinos were 100% for Bernie, wanting (or already having) lawn signs and buttons. A new citizen and her daughter will be casting their first votes for him! I also bumped into a few people who weren't on my walk list but who had recently switched from unaffiliated to Democrat in order to vote for him.
I met one Hillary supporter who was visiting the person on my walk list. She was pleasant and wished me well. We both agreed our candidates are miles better than the Republicans, who don't even meet the base line of being sane, reasonable people.
I recommend canvassing to anyone! It's enjoyable, people are generally pleasant to volunteers, and it's a great way to help the campaign.

(872 posts)I have seen several Bernie signs, bumper stickers, one Trump, and no Hillary. I know zero people in my circle, who is made up of the political spectrum, who is not for Bernie. Even my dyed in the wool Republican relatives are for Bernie.
