My father died when I was 7 years old and I never got to know him. In so many ways Bernie feels like the father that I and our country never had and I mean that in the best possible way.

So dad, with all my heart and soul, I am rootin' for you tomorrow!! Best of luck to you and our country. I couldn't be more proud of you and what you have stood for all your life. You are my hero and my inspiration.
