I don't want my tax money to go to a bunch of moochers...

It's amazing to me how backwards Americans can be... Why in the world do we think hundreds of thousands of people living without homes across America, while working, is going to end well...?

I worked in the media as a kid and did a few stories with ACORN... the amount that they fought - and almost always lost - to try and help protect the inner city poor was amazing. And inspiring. And depressing. And disheartening.

America SHOULD be better than this... But it isn't.
