(55,981 posts)page. Bullshit hides. Looks like they are restricting the jury pools to eliminate progressives and alert stalking to get people out.
How do you know she got "flagged"?

Or do you mean how did I personally find out?
If so, I learned about it here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1280177542

(12,655 posts)to stack juries with hillary supporters. it explains why some of us have not been on in a while and why some of us after being here for years never hidden are suddenly getting bullshit hides and why bmus and others are being targeted.
emulating their corrupt candidate. how touching.

(4,211 posts)and now voter suppression here. I guess it wasn't too much of a stretch.
Course, by amusing, I mean in that way where you either laugh or grit your teeth in frustration.

(11,362 posts)... it reduces the chance you will be selected for juries.
Check your profile, and click "explain" where it gives your percentage chance of serving on juries.

(11,945 posts)who, if you met them in RL, would make you either duck or cross the street, while people like bmus, WillyT, demeter, and even, for a few days, artislife, have been civil, logical, generally soft-spoken, and never personally abusive.
The favoritism for Hill supporters is obvious and, for a website, kind of shameful and nutty. If this place weren't so well-read and therefore potentially persuasive to the voting/ opinion-writing public, I don't think I'd want to stick around. But the stakes are high in this primary; for me it is a clear choice between good and evil (cue soundtrack of wicked laughter during debates) and I want readers/lurkers/tweeters, etc. to get accurate candidate information and pick up on the true concerns and feelings, and memes, of liberal voters. So each of us can help in that regard, even if only in keeping worthwhile threads kicked.
Sorry, more yaketty-yak than you expected.

(11,945 posts)Using her green Cthulhu kitty in my sig line has had a strange effect. The sight of the kitty has always brought a happy feeling because I like her a lot (she made me feel welcome and at home here) and have learned to trust her ability to anchor a thread and temper the chaos. There is something in her personality that brings calmness and order. (She would probably make a great leader.) Plus, she's solidly, solidly pro-Bernie. So immediately after hitting "post" and seeing the green kitty, I'd get that happy rush -- but now it was instantly followed by feelings of shock and loss -- so it became, on the whole, disconcerting. But at some point late last night, I realized the green kitty appearing right after a comment gave me a flash of bmus approval and validation. Kind of nice.
So when she comes back (and goddamit, Skinner, she had better come back, and soon ), I'll gladly relinquish her trademark back to her, but for now it's almost like a keepsake.
And I know perfectly well I can talk to her at jpr. But she's so very, very DU; she's the best it has to offer, imo. (Ya hear that, Skinner? She's one of your crown jewels and you need to know that).
This place needs bmus.
