Pie Charts from FEC Compares Bernie & Hillary donors

This is an interesting article in The Guardian.

Techies for Bernie: why are some of the best-paid workers supporting a socialist?
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/apr/18/bernie-sanders-techies-support-socialism-capitalism

Technology and education are the leading fields among Sanders donors, while Clinton’s are legal and retirees.

Bernie has seen a significant surge in contributions from the tech industry since late 2015, and is now out-raising Clinton more than two to one among tech workers. These seem to be first-time contributors, since the amount of cash going to Clinton has remained steady while the amount going to Sanders continues to rise.

I say allegedly more or less as a joke about some of the folks I've worked with.

We also tend to trust the scientific method and peer review. We would also starve if we couldn't change based on feedback and metrics.

Sanders is the first candidate I feel I can trust and who has policies that make common sense to me

The value of money, greed, speak to the present.

Knowledge is our greatest gift, and innovation is the key to that future. Without it, we die.
