He asked me to donate to Hillary. I told him why of the form too.
To be clear I do not hate Hillary. She just is not my first or second choice. She gets the nomination, she gets my vote.

(14,177 posts)I can vote for waffles with blueberry syrup and whipped cream, no worries. If Hillary is nominated she will get Minnesota's electoral votes.

(28,079 posts)lends itself to a low budget, grass roots campaign. As long as the organization is good, the caucus system gives Bernie a better chance of walking off with a lot of the state's delegates to the national convention.
Before Bernie declared I felt lucky to live in Minnesota because the caucus system gives us the option of forming an "uncommitted" caucus and electing uncommitted delegates to the convention. So, when it looked like this might turn into a coronation, we had the option of voicing our displeasure.

(28,079 posts)and they're all excited - but when I mentioned the caucuses I got a blank look.
But people got out to them for Eugene McCarthy in 1968 (the strong showing was a shock to the Humphrey people) and for Wellstone when he ran for senate in 1992 - it can be done!

(43,853 posts)I'm not on board with him politically. He's much too corporate for me. I supported Rush Holt in that primary.

I call it wrong.
Thanks to Mr. Lane for correcting my error. Well not so much correcting as questioning.
But I have been slightly disappointed in some of Sen. Booker's stances, and had been a very big supporter from afar, not being from Jersey and all.

(1,554 posts)It was the procedural vote I was thinking of anyway, and he'd did vote Nay on it as well.
My bad, and thanks!

(11,175 posts)Booker is generally from the corporatist wing of the Democratic Party. Going into this fracas, I was guessing that he'd line up in favor of TPA/TPP. His vote was a pleasant surprise.

return the favor.
Hillary supporters are testy for us not liking him endorsing her.
If hillary were to win nomination,not a thought i like,i wouldn't vote for president.I am so done with corporate dems.I have seen
what voting for them gets us.things like TPP.
