4,000 unable to gain entry to Sanders rally in Missoula because of overcapacity

MISSOULA -
Not everybody who showed up to see Bernie got to actually see him in person. In fact, the Missoula Downtown Association estimates about 9,000 tried to get in, but over 4,000 couldn't get close enough to see.

But some said they didn't mind.

"I'm at the end of the Orange Street bridge so it might be awhile before I get in there. I hope I get to hear him talk," said Missoula resident Bruce Bender.

"I don't mind that I'm at the back of the line because I'm just here. I'm just part of the cause. I don't think I'll make it but that's okay. I think I'll still be able to hear him if I get close enough," said Missoula resident Lizzie Dolan.

Lines began to form well before security started allowing people in at 10 a.m. Wednesday. By 11:30, the line extended past the Orange Street Bridge near 1st Street W.

The Missoula Downtown Association says Caras Park usually holds about 4,500, leaving about 4,30 people outside the rally. Despite the delay, supporters say they wouldn't miss the chance to see Bernie speak.

"I will say that I'm here to support the democratic nominee, whoever that may be. But while Bernie is in town you can bet I wanna see him," East Missoula resident Lee Bridges said.

"He has so much passion and it's just so contagious and it's really cool to see all these people out here," Dolan said.

They vote and Bernie's hordes don't. Just ask one of the Queen's supporters, they'll tell ya.

She doesn't need all those 'little people' and their whiney, progressive $27 a piece.

Imagine the time wasted - counting all those 27-dollar bills and then processing them.
