P.S. Ed Shultz has given Bernie more than a fair shake, Maddow is starting to. The rest? mediocre to ridicule. I don't think this is coincidence or spontaneous as MSNBC considers itself "establishment."
In little more than the time it takes for us to post a complaint at DU, we could email MSNBC. Just a thought.
ETA: It may be that you have to use the link at the contact page in order to email. Here is the contact page, which also includes snail mail addresses.

There are also message boards you can join to express approval and disapproval.
Finally, every show on MSNBC has a web page. Here is a link to Hardball with Chris Matthews: http://www.msnbc.com/hardball
Find the place that says feedback and click on it. Make a suggestion and/or send feedback. And/or leave a comment (right hand side of the page, where it says "What do you think?"

(217 posts)You are right about some of them coming around. Rachel said the other night that she was "feeling the Bern".

(45,251 posts)Bernie acknowledged him for that recently, admitting it meant a lot to him because he (Bernie) doesn't have the money to buy TV time. So, maybe the next time you contact them, you could praise Schultz.
Wellstone ruled
(34,661 posts)of MSNBC,tells you the why and wherefore for not covering Bernie. If one thinks Comcast is pro progressive and anti Wall Street, got some Lake Shore for sale in Northern Arizona.

(34,661 posts)And in saying that,he was a total Right Wing Scab Ass. This scumbag was a terror to CWA members, had several small Cable Companies as clients in the early nineties. When Comcast bought them out, first thing was they fired all of the Union installers and Linemen, and bought in outside workers from other Comcast Systems that were non union scab's. These people were housed at company expense until the Union Contract Expired or a out of court sealed settlement with the affected people.
The persent Operations Guy at MSNBC comes out of the RNC,no suprise here as to what goes.

(45,251 posts)for him. I am going to try to find out more from him.
NBC News controls MSNBC. MSNBC used to have its own email address, but no more. Did you try googling contact MSNBC? There are also snail mail addresses on the contact page I saw.

(41,144 posts)And I wish Ed's show was repeated, or put in a prime slot. Lawrence O'Donnell had a panel a few nights ago including Thom H. which is rare, about whether Eliz. Warren will officially support Bernie. Then yesterday a caller to Thom's program said L. had been dissing Bernie the next night (?). Rev. Sharpton is good on certain themes. The younger group on 'The Cycle' (4PM) was enthusiastic about Bernie's recent rise, Ari and Abby H. mainly from what little I saw.
Matthews and regular Joan Walsh of Salon- insiders are the subject of an OP now in the Group. Rachel's the only host I catch in spurts when there are major topics I think she'll cover well. I can't figure out what Chris Hayes' role or niche is anymore yet he's definitely bright. Sort of an all around junior anchor maybe. Haven't followed what he's been reporting on Bernie.
MHP on Sat. am does very good panel discussions on broader topics and themes not pol campaigns per se from what I've seen.
To the point, if you and others think it worthwhile to email MSNBC about their stepping up their attitude and reporting I'll consider it.

(50,983 posts)it would not work. There seemed to be a run around mechanism or device.

Enthusiast
(50,983 posts)that I was a human being made no sense. It was contradictory, more of a koan. I felt like that little stumbling block was set up just for me. Wish I could remember the details now. Apparently I was on the no-fly list.
