I loathe Hillary. But I will hold my nose like I've never held my nose before. It will kill me but I won't have a choice.

And it's rubbing salt in the wounds that I won't have a choice because of the Supreme Court, which wouldn't be as big an issue if Obama and the Democrats in general were fighting harder and shouting more from the rooftops how the GOP is obstructing his nominee. But Obama and Clinton are both go along to get along Dems who are concerned more about being liked by the Morning Joe and Chuck Todd crowd than they are about doing what is right.

President Obama and the Clinton campaign are keeping their powder dry. Their opposition research is very detailed, I'm certain because Donald Trump has led a despicable life and there is so much dirt on him that the broader public hasn't seen yet. Remember that we're political freaks whereas most voters haven't paid as much attention as we have. When the time comes, watch the daily attacks against Mr. Trump.

couldn't care less about all the "dirt" Hillary has on him.
They already know, and have already said it isn't important to them.

How many time have we seen Republicans get caught in scandals or even criminality,
and they become HEROES of the Right Wing?

I have seen in my 58 years.

It is healthy for all concerned that the issues are being brought to light.

8. You can't beat Trump by pointing out that he is an asshole

Everybody knows that he is an asshole. That is his selling point, for God's sake.

To beat him, you have get people to really want you to be President. Hillary will hold the AA vote together and probably get a decent turnout from that demographic, especially in light of Trump being such a race baiter. And upper middle class white women over 40 will probably turnout for her in big numbers. Beyond that, she has never shown herself to be a good campaigner, ever. And she seems allergic to the idea a saying what she wants to do with the office, rather than to occupy it with her own awesomeness.

Trump will wipe the floor with her unless she can tell people why they will be better off on her watch. Trump is running against Politics as Usual -- which is why the usual political techniques do not work against him. You'd think the professional experts running the Clinton Campaign would snap to that.

Instead, they put out laughably bad stuff like the three minutes of Mittens, Jebbie and Cruzie calling The Donald a sack load of motherfuckers. How'd that work out when those geniuses said that shit in the first place? Does anybody really care what Ted Cruz thinks about anything? Does anybody really want to hear from Willard Romney ever again?

And, don't you realize that Trump is doing so well because those guys hate him?

Sanders polls so well with independents and young people for the simple reason that he clearly sets out what he wants to do as President. (And contrary to the constantly repeated lies, what he wants to do is not to hand out free stuff.) He wants to take big money out of politics so that we can have a debate of ideas about public policy rather than a fund raising contest to decide how are are going to live in this country.

Hillary could, in theory, jump on that bandwagon now quite easily and credibly. Without saying a word about how high the minimum wage should be, or how we make higher education affordable or what the specifics are for building upon the Affordable Care Act -- she could say that she does agree with Bernie on his main point about money in politics and she could promise to fight the Tea Bag Congress tooth and nail on that issue -- setting them up for a showdown in the 2018 mid terms.

She will not do this because she does not want to get money out of politics. She likes it fine.

And that void at the core question of our era will cost her the election to Trump, unless she and her simple-simon supporters wake up. Nobody gives a shit that "She is Ready From Day One!" Ready for what? People believe that means More of the Same. I do. Does anybody seriously argue that she is not the candidate of Business As Usual?
