I think there's a flaw in the #BidenBackup premise, which is namely that

if there is a perception that Obama protected Hillary in any way, the taint of association would spread to his Veep, rendering him even less likely to win the GE after factoring in Berner rage.

1. There's flaws (flies) in the whole soup, ever since we've had a candidate under FBI investigation.

Frankly, wish that the Party could be united. Wish we could have a woman President without DLC leanings and a lot of assorted baggage that could hurt chances in the GE, even in downticket races. Wish we could have united around a consistent Progressive. Wish Elizabeth Warren had run, or could be convinced to come out and be V.P. on anybody's ticket - think it would mean a lot. Wish the DNC and the entire Democratic establishment had not shown its clear bias early on in the primary process, and instead had bent over backward to devise a process that would clearly see who fairly had the most support and the best chance in the GE. Wish that Hillary did not have an FBI investigation underway, over things that seem legitimately serious and electorally devastating, to me anyway.

Lot of wishes, some already too late to fulfill. Some not.

2. I think the Berner rage disqualifies him from the get go. I certainly wouldn't stand for it.

I don't think he'd try to take if from Bernie anyway, at this point.

disrespectful that woman is.

I've believed Obama would order Lynch to NOT indict, but knowing how Clinton blatantly disrespected him by doing this, I now think he's going to let her stew in her own juices. She WILL BE indicted and Obama saves face...which doesn't reflect on Biden at all. Biden isn't the decision maker.

Obama can't let her get away with this. THAT would be HIS legacy.

Oh, and... "Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June."

KARMA. It'll get you every time.

And I don't think Biden wants to face Berner rage. That would be a huge mistake. However, I do believe that's been the DNC's PLAN B. After the IG's report, PLAN B is in the toilet. The queen 👑 will be indicted before the convention. She will have to remove herself from the race or the Super Delegates will remove her from the race.

NOW we know why Bernie stayed in the race. He knew this was coming. Yet again, his insights were correct.

He doesn't want to hand off the progress we have made and the next SCOTUS picks to a GOP president. That is #1.

Obama could easily win a 3rd term this year if such were legal. Easily.
