My one disappointment

Aside from my disappointment that delegate counts aren't in Bernie's favor, my only disappointment is that Bernie has not aggressively challenged / counted votes in states like Illinois, where state mandates audits of electronic voting machines resulted in people protesting that they were being strong-armed into accepting fallacious results.

I'm old enough to remember exit polls that consistently matched vote tallies within 0.5%. Old enough to have developed confidence in the accuracy of exit polling back before the media had to make up silly explanations like "Reluctant Bush Responders" to explain why exit polls were differing greatly from vote counts. I'm a statistics sort of person who is sensitive to patterns, and when a little analysis of counties and central tabulator software in Florida showed me that large numbers of people who had voted for Gore in 2000 would have had to switch to become Bush voters in 2004 -- which seemed unlikely as hell -- I developed a lot of skepticism over the machinery not to mention ancillary processes.

Whether or not the perception of doubters like myself is correct, there's a point often quoted in corporate America that applies: at some point, perception becomes reality. If voters have no confidence in the election system, they are discouraged from voting. And something so fundamental to democracy needs to be transparent and beyond reproach. It's disgusting that we even have to explain this.

Bernie, you've done your best to get elected, as we've wanted; but you haven't helped shed light on whether or not the voting systems are rigged. We need to know.

They are rigged, some more than others. All you have to do is look at how closely the DNC is associated with those who run the elections. When the names become interchangeable, you have the answer.

I know about the RICO lawsuit, which is a big deal, at least to me.

But how we do solve this mess with the electronic voting machines? We haven't had an honest election since these things have been around.

When you think about it, the establishment has the incredible stupidity to think that we can't see that Bernie had more support than HRC and that we just buy the line that Bernie people show up for rallies and don't vote, while Hillary people vote and show up for rallies less. I just don't buy that.

Studies could have should have been done. Researchers could have gone to Bernie rallies and surveyed how many people were registered.

All candidates should demand free and fair elections. For years we have had selected winners accepting the position they were given. If Hill is selected in November I will never believe that she actually had the majority of the primary votes. We can't even ask for election reform. Our entire election process is no more. There is nothing to reform. We must start over. President Jimmy Carter, you have built fair elections across the globe. Please help lead the way to free and fair elections here.

between exit polls and reported vote totals; but the one common factor that most easily accounts for them all is the rise of electronic voting and/or tabulation.

Politicians have to remain cognizant of fickle, easily swayed, public opinion. For Bernie to openly focus on election theft would be a distraction that would boomerang back on him as a "sore loser" who is in it for himself. But I would be very surprised if his campaign weren't working closely with those who are investigating the strangest, most improbable primaries and the ones with the greatest numbers of "irregularities." He's smart to let that play out through independent investigations.

Bernie has been a U.S. legislator for 25 years. He knows how to actually get things done by staying focused and making wise moves. Taking election theft to center stage would destroy it for him.

fraud is probably evident is every state. If Bernie were to complain about every state, that would not be good for his perception. I do not have an answer as to how to fix it. However,my first step would be paper ballot. I don't give a shit if it takes an extra day to count. I want verifyable accuracy. That's not asking too much, is it?
