WA State Democratic Party Progressive Caucus Endorses Bernie Sanders for President

Note--speaking for the caucus only, not the state party as a whole.

On July 11, 2015, the Washington State Democratic Party Progressive Caucus held a special meeting for the purpose of considering an endorsement of Senator Bernie Sanders for President of the United States. Members of the Progressive Caucus, including members from legislative districts and congressional districts all over Washington state, voted unanimously in favor of the endorsement. Delegates of the Washington State Democratic Party to the Democratic Party National Convention will be selected at Precinct Caucus in March 2016. We urge all progressives to attend your local precinct caucus and vote for Bernie Sanders to be the nominee of the Democratic Party for President of the United States. For more information on how you can become a delegate for Bernie and/or help others become delegates for Bernie, visit the following web page.

And the more of the citizens that get to know Bernie, they will totally be on board.

I have to toss this in, after seeing some recent posts about polling...I will NOT, roll over dead and march like a freak'n ZOMBIE for The Annointed One...that stuff is tick'n me off.

I support Bernie...and I will continue to do so...I do NOT have to cast my vote the way another candidate's supporters tell me too.

GO Bernie!

An a native Washingtonian, I would not be surprised to see similar or better results for Bernie.

In 2008, her campaign staff contacted chairs of all the local LD and county organizations to tell them that if they didn't get behind the inevitable candidate, they should give up on any hopes of having a political career at higher levels. The Obama campaign contacted individual members and PCOS, and asked us what our most important issues were.

--of the people in leadership positions in 2008 had gotten involved with their local organizations only in 2004. They were seriously freaked out.
