Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumI want to thank the hosts and members of this group for raising the bar during primary season.
This is the most civil and positive group for a Dem candidate I've ever seen, you make reading here a pleasure.

(35,961 posts)I've taken to popping in every few days to have a read, and think it's a warm and welcoming group, and the hosts in particular are doing a great job...

(16,974 posts)Good work to the hosts and the posters. Not to mention less than half the blocks in other groups. Seems like this group allows debate.

(20,805 posts)... doing and saying whatever needs to be said to further support our candidate, but rather willing to discuss the issues that our candidate talks about in an open and honest manner, without the interference of juvenile ban-happy hosts...
Go Bernie, GO!
Zombies, Zombies, ZOMBIES!
Now when did I last hear that!?!
It is pretty civil in here...I like it.
(I finally just now trashed The Annointed One's group...I like to follow what pops up in Trending and occasionally end up there by clicking a post...it's so negative, nasty and arrogant, that I don't want to give them any views. When I did that, just blocked a couple more HRC Zombies.)

(57,349 posts)They don't encourage and applaud bashing and smears of other candidates and their supporters.

(57,349 posts)I may not always be above the fray but at least I aspire to be better than those who attack my candidate.

(62,325 posts)Right Wing policies, it was pretty simple really. Something changed over the past few years. But in many ways it is good to know how things really are.
I was under the apparently WRONG impression that Dems were united against the horrible policies we endured under the Bush gang. I know most still are, but Liberal forums saw an influx of right leaning 'dems' who defend the kind of things Dems unanimously opposed not that long ago. At least the rank and file opposed them.
I agree though, this is the best Group on DU, the most interesting, the most active, the most enthusiastic and we have great HOSTS!

(153,169 posts)I was booted from the Hillary Clinton room (by a DUer I USED TO RESPECT) for stating that I felt that "both sides" were acting like teenagers (TRUE)....I was booted from the BOG for stating that Democrats do not goosestep (PROVEN WRONG BY THEM, APPARENTLY)....OMG I DETEST SWOONERS NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE SWOONING FOR!!!

(62,325 posts)Though you do have a point wrt your comment about 'dems' and 'goosestepping' considering that. Maybe it has to do with the difference between Progressive Dems and Third Way Dems. It's almost like we have two parties under the same 'tent'.

(62,325 posts)And true, they are not likely to be found swooning over politicians or unwilling to criticize politician they supported and even defended, as many of us re the Clintons, when they are wrong on issues that affect this country.
