Bernie grassroots outside La Raza convention building (as well as in)!
There is a thread which focuses on what happened today in KC inside the La Raza convention. I would like to add something about what happened outside. On this facebook link you can see some of the images outside. Bernie grassroots was there including my friend and guitarist Winston Apple. I couldn't make it because I had to work, but Winston lead them in a version of "Give Peace a Chance," by John Lennon. They used many different lyrical versions, but my favorite was "All we are saying, is feel the Bern!"

They were situated close to the main entrance and were well received by entering and exiting La Raza convention goers. Some convention delegates cheerfully received Bernie buttons. There was also someone outside their group who was doing a brisk business of selling Bernie buttons. If you click on the FB link and go to the lower right image and blow it up, my friend Winston is the guy on the right with the guitar.
