how do I tell if this is a legit link for donations?

I copy/pasted a post from a comment on a Bernie post in my facebook feed-

In the comment it had this link to donate to Bernie:

https://secure.actblue.com/entity/fundraisers/39795

someone made a comment to my post suggesting it was not a legitimate link

how do I know for sure?

2. Yes, this is a legitimate fundraising link.

The Sanders campaign uses ActBlue and this link is correct.

Whoever made that post either is ignorant or willfully attempting to confuse you and others.

I am not sure how ActBlue works, does the Sanders campaign control all of it?
