I will be interested to hear any tips, hints, etc. I don't belong either but would like to be in better touch of all things Bernie...however, I don't want my sister sending me sappy ponies and unicorn stuff.

14. Just go to Bernie websites

When you open up your page... called your wall you will see
What's on your mind?

Just like here, go to sites on the internet that have positive reviews or are meet ups about Bernie and copy and paste the link in the box.
You can look for Bernie sites and Like them.

If there are people you know that may be persuaded over or are already here look in the dark blue band at the top of the page and start to type in the names and it will bring up a search.

That will get you going.

I always go to Youtube when I am looking to learn something new on the internet. I have learned quickbooks and other cool thing in software which has helped me earn money. It is the best free teacher out there.

People need to know that once you sign onto FB, getting off is impossible...and they own all your information...I got off years ago thanks to helpful advise from one who knew more about FB than I did and after spending several hours going to a number of obscure FB locations...

Will you tell some of us who your Facebook self is?

Privately, of course.

Some of us might even live near you in your sunny and warm city of, grapes, cows, whatever it is!

People for Bernie Sanders is a good one:

And pretty much any city or region has a "... For Bernie Sanders" page

Here's Bay Area for Bernie:

(and learning from them) here is what I have found.

I didn't use facebook at all regularly until this year. I, like you, am looking for Bernie stuff.

Whenever I sign on to any blog that requires a birthdate - I never give them my real birth date, just as a rule of thumb. I keep a separate word file with a list of all my sites, passwords, security questions, etc. and birthdates, just in case.

What I do on f/b is go through my home page and browse through it like/share whatever I like. For me it's like a newspaper but more focused on the issues that I care about (i.e., wildlife conservation, Palestine rights, Bernie Sanders, etc.) as well as my friends' issues. The shares always go to my personal page where (I assume) the shares from my personal page are posted onto each of my 'friends' HOME pages where they see them and like/share/or just disregard them.

It's my thing but I'm not friends with the world - only those people I know.

All of my group memberships (The real news network (TRNN), Bernie Sanders (as per above), etc. appear on my home page. Sometimes I cut and paste those ideas and share them here. There is a certain synergy with f/b so sometimes you might get information from a group page and then that group page gives you a referral.

I created my own group - I posted this earlier. I called the group Keene, NH for Bernie Sanders. To this day, I have 27 members. I post stories about Sanders to that group just like I do here. DU is a great place to get 'source' material because I assume that my 27 members are already receiving the Bernie Sanders for President 2016 stuff. Now having said that, to this day, I don't know what my 27 members are receiving or reading - two former members of my group left: one because I was posting too much stuff and he was receiving notifications; the other because I monopolized the posting. It is my understanding that each group member has the opportunity to post. Further, I also understand that each group member may receive 'notifications' of what has been posted in a different way....There are numerous ways to manipulate f/b. For example, one member told me that she receives her posts through KINDLE????

I hope this helps - I think I covered all the bases....I've also found out with the technology that everyone learns in their own way (for better or worse) and there are numerous ways to learn the systems and work out the kinks...It's very forgiving. But at the same time, because there is more than one way to learn, if you ask someone how it works, you get more than one answer.
