I am not saying I am one of those people. But, if a mess is a sign of intelligence then I am plenty smart.

I am in the process of making an appointment and it goes like this. Make a phone call to have them call you back to make an appointment. So, today I took a one hour trip on the bus and when to tell them to call me to make the appointment. I tried desperately to get an email or something instead. So, now I have to wait for the call on Monday at noon. I am hoping my youngest daughter will come by and keep me company and actually pick up the phone for me. I do a lot better when someone else actually answers the phone. I did the online thing and got 38 on one test(I purposely answered questions to get a lower score and still went 8 points higher than borderline) I got 176 out of 200 for Asperger's traits and 30 out of 100 for Neurotypical traits on another somewhat strangely worded test. So, I completely relate to that. I can't tell you how often I was told to comb my hair, I still forget sometimes.

Einstein once asked, "If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk?"

I am going to post that one up at work though I doubt anyone will be able to see behind all the clutter.

You know, figuring out how to best meet the needs of the General Welfare instead of focusing our resources on how to dominate militarily.

Learn how to provide human beings with food, clothing, shelter, education, transportation, health care and energy needs in the least environmentally impactful way possible in the coming Century.

The place to start is to do away with corporate education deform focused on high-stakes testing and privatization.

I've been fighting this fight in isolation in my classroom for decades, and would love some energetic help. It's beginning to happen, and better late than never.

We have the model of Finland. Why not follow that instead of the profit driven mistake.

Democratic Socialists are a movement, not a party, and believe in working within capitalism and specifically, within the Democratic Party.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/12806844 (What the hell is an "avowed" Democratic Socialist anyway?)

The Democratic Socialists of America endorsed John Kerry in 2004, Obama in 2008 and Bernie Sanders in 2016.

So, it's a lot more familiar than it may seem at first blush.
