http://www.netrootsnation.org/follow-nn15-at-home/Host seems righteously angry, but I hope he is courteous to the candidates. O'Malley is having to sort of introduce himself.

(88,117 posts)O'Malley taking over because host doesn't know how to apparently.
Sanders not on yet.
Autumn
(45,120 posts)get the schedule to load and the O'Malley feed is skipping.

(88,117 posts)I think feet should be held to the fire, but I also think candidates should be treated with respect by hosts. O'Malley doing a good job defending himself.
I think it was a poor choice of a host because he is concentrating on race only so far. Not even esp. polite.
madfloridian
(88,117 posts)O'Malley still doing well.

(45,120 posts)but there is so much yelling from the audience and then she will pick up something they are saying and repeat it back but it's so lound i can't understand what it going on O'Malley is still standing there saying or doing nothing.

(18,791 posts)I am indeed showing my age.
I find that ranting doesn't get your point very far...and when you do nothing but interrupt
well, that's not very productive.
There are times for chanting...and there are times for protesting...but...
Autumn
(45,120 posts)was disrupted. That sucked. Very rude.
Autumn
(45,120 posts)crap for saying this I would like him to walk off stage. This is bullshit.
SoapBox
(18,791 posts)Did you see the Tweets just now?
Sheesh...
But the one was spot on..."What happened to Martin O'Malley, is why HRC didn't attend."
This mess is a disgrace.

Poor choice of host by Netroots Nation.
Autumn
(45,120 posts)treated this way.
Enough of all that insanity.
NOW...onto the rally tonight...and it damned well better be more well behaved.
Autumn
(45,120 posts)If it is I'm not even remotely interested and hopes the candidates stay away.
Nevada Blue
(130 posts)to plain out tell them if they didn't want him here, he'd leave.
My feed cut-off before the end of Bernie so I have no idea the outcome of his segment - but he certainly handled it initially better than O'Malley. But then Bernie has a long-time activist background and was not intimidated (although plenty frustrated).
I know democracy is messy. But I wonder if we were that rude in the 60's.

...I'll betcha that no candidate for anything, every shows up here again.
madfloridian
(88,117 posts)He started out angry and belligerent. The whole affair was a mess.
Kudos to both candidates for being gracious.
